ROCKY MOUNT – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is seeking applicants to operate a license plate agency (LPA) in Macon County. The agency, on Westgate Plaza, in Franklin, is hiring for the position following the retirement of longtime contractor Frieda Teem, who has operated the LPA since 1987. Completed applications must be returned to NCDMV no later than Jan. 18. The applications can be found on the Connect NCDOT website.
