Renovations at Waynesville’s oldest country club could help boost the local economy. JD Trueblood, the membership director at Waynesville Inn & Golf Club, said work to transform and modernize the 1955 golf course and iconic inn is well underway, and a hallmark of the Raines Company, which is investing $28 million into the upgrade, is supporting local businesses as much as possible.
