Jackson County Health officials say the recent COVID-19 vaccination clinics have been successful. The county said Wednesday that it has now depleted its supply of vaccine shots, but still has more than 6,000 people on the waiting list to get the vaccine. That seems like a tall mountain to climb, considering the county is only receiving about 300 doses per week. The county will continue to vaccine those who fall into the Group 1 and Group 2 categories, which includes healthcare workers and long-term care facility staff and residents… and anyone older than 65 years.
