A multi-state investigation involving several law enforcement agencies, including Brevard, has culminated in the recovery over 300 thousand dollars worth of stolen heavy equipment, at a Western North Carolina business. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant executed at Rom Customs in Candler uncovered stolen excavators, tractors and equipment trailers. 32 year old, Alexander Cochran Herlocker was arrested and is charged with multiple counts of theft.
