The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office is bursting with pride and praising the efforts of newly-elected Sheriff Bill Wilke.
The criminal investigations division has returned nearly $2000,000 [$195,602] worth of stolen property to victims of theft, since Wilke took office in December. The department said they were able to recover stolen items from more than 40 theft cases.
