The Sylva woman convicted for her role in two overdoses is waiting to be extradited to the federal Bureau of Prisons to serve her decades long sentence. Megan Emily Tate, 29, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for providing two prisoners with fentanyl when she was being held at the Jackson County Detention Center in 2021, which led to their overdosing, court records state.
