WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – The FBI has been called in to investigate an incident ivolving a homemade bomb found inside an apartment building in Waynesville last week. Waynesville Police Chief David Adams said in a media release that a man stopped an officer driving along Camelot Drive on July 1 and showed the deputy an explosive device he said he found while cleaning out the apartment unit. Adams said the person responsible for the bomb could face state or federal charges.
