There’s a new leader at the helm for Swain Community Hospital. Steven Plemmons, who has been the Emergency Services Director at Harris and Swain over the previous years, is now returning as the new administrator of Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, Harris Regional and Swain Community Hospital announced Thursday, noting a focus will be to expand and grow services in rural western North Carolina communities.
