Two missing Cherokee teens have been located

CHEROKEE, N.C. (WLOS) – UPDATE: Two missing Cherokee teens have been located. Officials said Friday evening [June 16] that both the Cherokee Indian Police Department and the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office, located in Georgia, reported finding Tristan Lossie, 14 and William Ellwood, 15, safe in Georgia, after the pair were reported missing on Wednesday [June 15], from a foster family in the state and said they believe the teens may have been trying to come back to Cherokee where Lossie’s mother resides. The case is still under investigation.
