BREVARD, N.C. (WLOS) – The contractor accused of scamming customers out of thousands of dollars entered a guilty plea in Transylvania County this week. Victims were celebrating Wednesday after a judge sentenced Brevard contractor Travis Galloway to prison for ripping off customers from Asheville to Waynesville out of close to $100,000 in 2018. A judge ordered Galloway to serve between 19 months and three years in three Brevard extortion cases. Galloway’s next court date in regard to three other cases officisl say remain open is June 30.
