CULLOWHEE – WCU’s first permamanent female Chancellor is being recognized for her academic acumen and student success rate. Business North Carolina magazine included Chancellor Kelli R. Brown of Western Carolina University in its Power List 2022 of the state’s most influential leaders. Brown has garnered attention, since joining WCU in 2019, for campus diversity and inclusivity, as well as her student-centered focus and innovation in teaching.
