Hindsight is 20-20

RALEIGH – Hindsight is 20-20. That was the sentiment behind a monumental step state leaders took with the launch of a new program in North Carolina that aims to reduce future flooding across the state’s waterways. The N.C. General Assembly approved $38 million to create the Streamflow Rehabilitation Assistance Program. StRAP allocates money for projects that protect and restore the integrity of drainage infrastructure. The Division of Soil and Water Conservation began accepting applications on Monday, Jan. 24. A link to the application form can be found on the StRAP webpage.
