A Georgia man accepted a plea deal in connection to a fatal car accident last year for which he was charged. Alfred Jermaine Frazier was sentenced this week [Monday] to one year of supervised probation, stemming from a 2022 two-car accident on East Main Street that claimed the life of, Martha Jane Winecoff Brethauer, 89, who was a passenger in the vehicle Frazier hit, which was being driven by her 87-year-old husband, according to court records. Martha Brethauer died on scene. If the 21 year old fails to meet the conditions of his probation, which include paying fines and court fees, and enrolling in a driver’s class, he could face jail time.
