ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Western North Carolina residents began the workweek under a pollution alert. Skies are hazy in the area as smoke from the Canadian wildfires, once again, impacted the region. The smoke was expected to begin breaking up on Tuesday. Smoke from the fires has prompted air quality alerts across several states.
