Waynesville, N.C. – Waynesville Police have now identified the man found deceased inside a vehicle late last week parked on Hazelwood Avenue next to a train track. The WPD says, the body of Scott Caldwell’s, 61, of Waynesville was found July 13 during a welfare check. Preliminary reports thus far show no evidence of foul play. The cause and manner of death are pending toxicology and autopsy results, according to a press release from the Waynesville Police Department. The investigation is ongoing, the release notes.
