Hands on Jackson is gearing up for their Oct. workday. Volunteers with Hands on Jackson will be busy with home maintenance projects on Oct. 12 helping folks across the county who need a hand. The organizers and volunteers traditionally take on about 35 projects, from cleaning gutters to building wheelchair ramps. The Hands on Jackson Advisory Committee is asking the community for support and is looking for sponsorships, volunteer teams, and projects for this upcoming event.
