MACON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – The Franklin Police Department is working to determine if a body recovered Monday morning at the Little Tennessee River in Macon County is that of a missing teen. Officers said a 19-year-old was reportedly last seen early Saturday morning at the Macon County Greenway, which is where a kayaker reported finding the body floating in the river. No foul play is suspected according to police. The death is being investigated by the Franklin Police Department.
