North Carolina woman in Ga. jail after traffic stop turned drug bust

(WLOS) – A North Carolina woman is in custody after a traffic stop in Georgia turned up $183 thousand dollars worth of drugs. According to the County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over Kerry Stratton, of Leicester [lester], North Carolina after observing “multiple traffic violations” on May 24, and a probable cause search of the vehicle, uncovered 6 kilos of suspected Cocaine and 8 ounces of suspected Marijuana. The sheriff’s office said in an online update that the investigation is ongoing.
