Investigation culminated in one of largest drug busts in Haywood county

HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – An ongoing investigation culminated in one of the largest drug busts in Haywood county’s history. The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office says deputies confiscated nearly 500g [497.2g] of methamphetamine, close to 300g [299.5 g] of suspected fentanyl, and a Glock handgun, during a stealth raid at a residence on Friday, where Scottie Parham was taken into custody on multiple drug trafficking and weapons charges. The 30-year-old is being held on a more than $2-million dollar [$2,550,000] bond in the Haywood County Detention Center.
