JACKSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – Another drug bust in Jackson County netted police two arrests and what they called a “large quantity” of suspected narcotics over the weekend. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a shots fired call along Highway 441 South at the East Fork Road onramp early Saturday morning [May 6], and upon searching a suspected vehicle they seized 425 grams of pot, THC products, pills, 248 grams of magic Mushrooms, Cocaine, and two firearms. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Carlton Bowman, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jessica Marie Cruz, are both being held on multiple drug trafficking and weapons charges. The investigation is ongoing.
