Waynesville — A boutique hotel could soon be a new addition to Waynesville’s thriving downtown area. The 75-room Marriott hotel will be situated just one block from Main Street, and preliminary plans indicate that it will be a five-story 60 foot tall building. Developers still have to get permits approved and a public hearing will be held. If authorized, this would be the sole hotel in downtown Waynesville.
