ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – Asheville Regional Airport is growing. The airport announced this week [may 23] that travelers will soon have another option this fall for flying out west, with its addition of new, nonstop flights to Denver. If you’re heading out from Asheville you’ll be able to book nonstop flights on United Airlines to Denver International Airport (DEN) starting on or after Sept. 29. Asheville Regional officials said the airport is the third busiest in North Carolina and they’re continuing to grow.
