2019 child trafficking case results in 300+ years prison sentence

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – A child trafficking case from back in 2019 has resulted in prison time for a Virginia man and woman, the district attorney for Henderson, Polk and Transylvania counties announced on Monday. Jimmy Jamison, 55, was found guilty [May 18] of sexually assaulting a 14 year old girl who authorities say was left with the 55 year old on multiple occasions between 2019 and 2020 by a relative in exchange for drugs. He received a combined minimum to maximum sentence of up to 330 years in prison. The relative, charged with human trafficking, was sentenced on Monday to a minimum maximum sentence of up to 16 years in prison.
