BREVARD, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – A property in Transylvania County that many say is an eyesore and a public safety hazard will soon be torn down. A superior court judge signed papers Tuesday allowing officials to demolish a residence at 65 Old Railway Path in Brevard. The Sheriff’s Office said the property has been a blight on the area for years and is a known haven for drug transactions. The home will be leveled within the next four months.
