WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – If you missed last weeks NCWorks job fair for Canton mill workers, you’ll have another chance with more fairs scheduled, including one this week and more in June. The Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Asheville held a job fair April 19, specifically for Canton mill employees who will be displaced in June once the Pactiv Evergreen plant closes for good. Anyone who missed that employment event can attend another one hosted by NCWorks today [April 25]. There are other also upcoming dates scheduled June.
