Canton man convicted in drug trafficking ring sentenced

ASHEVILLE – A Canton man convicted for his role in a drug trafficking ring has been sentenced to prison time.
A federal judge on Thursday [March 30] ordered, Arthur Shane Douville to serve more than 15 years in prison, stemming from an ongoing investigation in which prosecutors say the 33 year old was identified as a wholesale methamphetamine trafficker who supplied local drug distributors in Haywood, Jackson and Buncombe Counties, according to a news release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina.
