ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Speeding is suspected to be a contributing factor in a fatal one car collision just after midnigt Monday off Highway 280, west of Interstate 26. The Asheville Police Department, said Scott Luis Blanc Jr., was killed when his vehicle skidded off Ferncliff Park Drive, and slammed into a tree. The 28 year old died at the scene.
Police are still investigating and anyone with information about the incident is urged to call police.
