ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – Police say the driver accused in a fatal hit and run of a bicyclist earlier this month has been arrested. Calvin Tyler Dion, of Mars Hill, is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder, after police say he crashed into 28-year-old James Shearon who was riding his bike along Grove Street on March 1, and is then seen on Security footage driving away from the scene. The victim died from his injuries a week later on March 8. Dion is being held on a more tha half a million dollar [$552,000] bond, according Buncombe County Detention Center records.
