Area commuters found themselves at a standstill after Spur rockslide

( WATE ) — Area commuters found themselves at a standstill while crews responded to a rockslide along the Spur during Thursday morning rush hour, according to an official with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Traffic was being diverted along the southbound Spur, or US 441 in the Smokies for several hours, as materials were cleared off the roadway.
