MACON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – UPDATE: The third suspect wanted in connection to a burglary last week is now in the custody of Macon County Sheriff’s Officials. An investigation into a car theft in the mountains on Feb. 3 led to the arrest of two people, and authorities say, the third suspect, identified as Marcus “Cody” Waldroup was located and arrested this week [Monday]. The sheriff’s office says Waldroup, along with, James Barton Smith and Meghan Judith Woody face multiple charges stemming from the crime.
