Haywood County school leaders are rallying for new rules that would allow home-schooled students to play sports for in Tuscola or Pisgah. The push for the change comes with district enrollment dropping as homeschooling is rising. Under state athletic rules, in order to play, students must be enrolled at least part-time in public school.
