Sylva was not among several towns awarded three municipal infrastructrue grants. The board voted unanimously to approve grant applications for Dillsboro, Forest Hills and Webster for the purchase of new equipment, landscaping and park benches. However, Sylva’s request for $5,000 to fund 16 art exhibits was not accepted.
