HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – It was mixed emotions from parents about the resignation of Tuscola High’s football coach during Tuesday’s Haywood County School Board meeting. Parents not happy with how the case was handled voiced their concerns about the allegations against Coach Brookshire who’s accused of making inappropriate comments to multiple female colleagues. Others expressed their support of Brookshire, urging the school district to reevaluate its internal policies. Brookshire resigned earlier this month following the investigation into the alleged employee misconduct, according to a release.
