The largest food distribution site in Haywood County is racing against the clock to keep running. The director at Haywood Christian Ministry in Waynesville, said they are running low on food, with only a couple weeks worth of donaions, or less, on hand. The nonprofit provides food boxes up to twice a week for families based on the number of individuals in the household. The organization serves more than 25,000 people annually.
