CHEROKEE, N.C. (WLOS) – A Cherokee Tribal Councilmember who was arrested Friday night [Jan. 6], following a road rage incident, appeared before a judge Monday morning [Jan. 9]. An attorney in Cherokee confirmed that it happened on the Qualla Boundary, where Robert Edward “Bo” Crowe is accused of forcing another driver out of their vehicle. Crowe, the council representative for the Wolftown and Big Y communities of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, is currently serving in his fifth term.
