Stacey R. Miller, former associate athletics director for student success at Western Carolina University, has been named the university’s next director of alumni engagement. The appointment of Miller, currently an instructor of sport management in WCU’s College of Business, is effective Jan. 1. She is filling a vacancy created by the October retirement of Marty Ramsey, who had served as director of alumni engagement since 2003 and is the longest-serving alumni engagement director in school history.
