The Director of Fontana Regional Library is being praised for her leadership. Karen Wallace was presented with the Director of the Year award from the NC Public Library Directors Association (NCPLDA), at their 2022 Awards Banquet in Winston-Salem. Wallace was applauded for her 30+ years of exemplary community engagement and for her significant impact on FRL’s community. North Carolina libraries across the state have benefited from her experience, the NCPLDA committee stated.
