The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a Tuesday morning attempted robbery at the Wells Fargo bank in Cashiers. As a precaution, all schools in the area, and businesses were notified to implement proper safety protocols. Blue Ridge School and Summit Charter School both went into soft lockdowns. In an update on Tuesday, officials with Wells Fargo reported the suspect was unsuccessful. There were no injuries reported.
