WCU Fine Art Museum is bringing attention to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. Through December 9, the museum, in partnership with the WCU Cherokee Center, host an exhibit called, We Will Not Be Silenced: Standing for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, aimed at raising awareness of the high rates of violence experienced by Indigenous women in the US through photographs and sculptures by six Indigenous artists. There will be a reception for the exhibition on November 2.
