WAYNESVILLE – The Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival is set for this month in Maggie Valley. The family friendly festival will be held on Oct. 29, at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. This is the second Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival. Since the festival is Halloween weekend, there will be Halloween-themed activities including pumpkin decorating, a costume contest and face painting.
