A drunk driver miraculously walked away alive from a single vehicle rollover crash on Sunrise Park Road Tuesday [October 25]. Sylva Police & the NC State Highway Patrol said they found the vehicle upside down in a ditch about 6-8ft below the road, and reported the driver was climbing out of the car when they arrived on scene, and appeared to have only minor injuries. Troopers determined she had been drinking and placed her under arrest for DWI.
