A ribbon cutton took place Tuesday at a new hospital in Franklin. The Angel Medical Center has 30 inpatient beds along with a 17-patiebt emergency room and 3 surgery rooms. The $68 million facility operated by Mission Health will open for patients next Sunday. Officials say the facility will be getting a heliport so medical airlift helicopters can land at the facility. That’s expected to be completed by next spring.
