Motorists can expect delays on West Main Street in Sylva on their Friday commute. One lane of traffic will be closed for bridge inspection work over Scotts Creek, as part of R-5600, the upcoming project to reconfigure N.C. 107 through Sylva. Crews will be out from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Transportation officials remind drivers to remain alert and obey all traffic instructions when approaching the work zone.
