This Saturday a Swain County nonprofit is holding an event to bring awareness to those dealing with mental health issues and substance addiction. According to the Smoky Mountain Times the event called “Rally 4 Health, Hope & Recovery” will be from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Riverfront Park in downtown Bryson City and is organized by Hope Springs, a men’s Christian rehabilitation transition house. There will be a number of speakers along with live music and information from more than 30 health-related resources. The event is free.
