A woman from Haywood County appeared in federal court on Monday on charges she attempted to serve papers on several county officials. WLOS reports the woman sent false writs of execution against the Haywood County sheriff, a deputy sheriff, two Haywood County commissioners, the Haywood County district attorney and CEO and chief nursing officer at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She had been in custody since her arrest last week.
