SWAIN COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – A Western North Carolina man is facing several charges in connection to a shooting. The Swain County Sheriff’s Office says officers responded to reports of shots fired near Kirkland Creek Road and Sheppard Creek Road on Aug. 25, and Gregory Lee Cline, 46, of Bryson City, was arrested. The 46 year old is accused of firing off shots and then fleeing the area. After authorities searched the area, they found Cline and he was taken into custody without incident. He was being held on a $65,000 bond.
