The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Watauga County woman on drug, theft and child abuse charges stemming from a February incident. Jesusa Marie Muller was taken into custody Aug. 8 on nearly a dozen charges in connection to the incident in which she is accused of stealing a catalytic converter from a Jackson County Department of Social Services vehicle while her three children were with her. Police also allege Muller subjected the kids, all under 16, to large amounts of methamphetamine after she was found to be in possession of between 28 and 200 grams of meth. She is being held in the Jackson County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
