Some good samaritans who stopped to help with a fiery crash in Franklin are being hailed heroes. Officers praised the bystanders who rescued the injured driver in the two-car collision on U.S. Highway 64 where a silver convertible fell off the over pass between the two bridges and landed on top of a vehicle on the road below, then caught fire. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Miraculously, the other driver was not injured. An investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
