Bryson City — Bond has been set for a Bryson City man accused in connection to a shooting. The Swain County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of gunfire near Kirkland Creek Road and Sheppard Creek Road on August 25 and discovered that Bryson City resident Gregory Lee Cline had reportedly fired the bullets before fleeing the scene. The 46 year old was located after a search of the area and taken into custody. He faces a number of charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and damage to personal property. Cline remains jailed on $65,000 bail.
