WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – A new recruiting video is offering incentives for people to apply to the Waynesville Police Department. The Waynesville Police Department hopes to land officers with the new campaign to hire officers posted on the department’s Facebook page, which boasts a starting salary $40,500, and a long list of other benefits. There are openings for two officers and the chief noted that there is room for growth within the department.
